8 Vacant Graves Drops New Single – “Lucid Nightmare”

Asheville, North Carolina natives Vacant Graves debuted their brand new single “Lucid Nightmare” to the world on June 6th.

Formed on the idea to take all metal and musical influences spanning across the many genres that inspired these musicians, 8 Vacant Graves is Jacob “Jake” Moneymaker (drums), and Jason Sirgo (guitar). Shortly after the formation of Graves they were joined by Nick Aust (bass//backing vox). The band has since has graced the many stages Asheville has to offer. Including the one and only Orange Peel. More recently the group rounded out the band with Anthony Worley driving the band home with his powerful vocals.

The debut single is accompanied by a wicked lyric video that is absolutely appropriate to the song itself. The track has a very unusual intro with guitars that almost seem out of tune, but, if you give the track a chance it does redeem itself. In a sense… the intro is appropriate to the title. Vocalist Worley delivers hard hitting vocals and screams throughout the track that could cut through steel.

I may be a bit biased because I’m a huge home state supporter when it comes to North Carolina bands, but 8 Vacant Graves is a group to be on the look out for! Check out the video in this post and go give the guys a big like on Facebook!
