A Killer’s Confession Debuts New Single, Video; Band Working On New Album

March 18 — A Killer’s Confession is not sitting easily on the laurels of its latest album.

The band debuted its latest single, ‘A Better Time‘ and its companion video Thursday. The pair’s premiere came less than four months after the release of the band’s latest album, Remember.

The song’s musical arrangement is a heavy, melodic hard rock composition whose guitars and vocals lend it to comparison to works from Breaking Benjamin at points. At other points, the band’s own leanings are just as present, as are influences of other current melodic hard rock acts, such as Stone Broken and Three Days Grace.

Front man Waylon Reavis (ex-Mushroomhead) said of the song’s lyrical theme, that it is a socio-politically charged message.

“The song is a simple glance at the world we live in and how everyone is so divided, and ask the question ‘Can we make it to a better time?’,” said Reavis.

‘A Better Time’ and its video are the first from AKC’s forthcoming fourth album, whose title, track listing, release date and more are under consideration.

In other news, A Killer’s Confession will embark on the “Angels And Outlaws Tour” Sunday with Struggle Jennings. The tour is scheduled to run through April 16 in Louisville, KY and features performances in cities, such as Billings, MT; Evansville, IN and Casper, WY.
