Ian Abel Band Debuts New Single, ‘Cerberus,’ Companion Video

Nov. 12 — The Ian Abel Band premiered its latest single and video last month.

The band debuted its new single, ‘Cerberus‘ and its companion lyric video Oct. 29 through Blues Rock Review magazine. The song’s musical arrangement is an infectious composition that will appeal to any southern and blues rock fan. Its lyrical theme focuses on the all-too-familiar topic of a broken relationship.

Front man and band namesake Ian Abel talked about the song’s lyrical theme during a recent interview.

“This song is a haunting look at the darker side of a relationship’s end,” said Abel. “The vibrations that once rattled that room and the ghosts of instruments past, I believe, can still be heard in this recording.”

The room that Abel references is the Troubadour. That is where the song’s lyric video was filmed. Abel and his band mates are shown performing their single in the video as the song’s lyrics play alongside the performance.
