Feb. 14 — Nonpoint returned this week with a brand new single and lyric video.
The band premiered its new single, ‘Heartless‘ Wednesday along with the song’s companion lyric video. Musically speaking, the song’s arrangement is everything that audiences have come to expect from Nonpoint throughout its two decade-plus life. The sharp cut of the guitars and the rough vocal delivery of front man Elias Soriano to give the song such a powerful presentation. Meanwhile the bass and the drums add another layer of punch to fully engage and entertain listeners even more.
Lyrically, the song comes across as delivering the familiar message of individuality, and does so by using the classic story of the Wizard of Oz to present that forceful, defiant message.
Soriano touched on the song’s theme briefly in a comment.
“’Ruthless’ introduced you to a dark, re-imagined Tinman,” Soriano said. “Our new single ‘Heartless’ will give you a peek inside the emptiness that drives his rusted cogs toward his target, Emerald City.”
Nonpoint debuted ‘Ruthless‘ last year.
In other news, Nonpoint recently announced an upcoming live North American run dubbed “The Emerald Cities Tour 2023.” The tour is scheduled to launch March 2 in Virginia Beach, VA and to run through
March 26 in San Antonio, TX and also features performances in cities nationwide, such as Greensboro, NC; Johnson City, TN and Tulsa, OK.
