Feb. 15 — Veteran rock band Tesla is scheduled to release a new live recording this summer, and in anticipation, the band has released a lyric video for one of the songs featured in the as-yet-untitled recording.
The band debuted the lyric video for its live performance of its song, ‘Time To Rock’ Thursday. The song and others that will be added to the album, was recorded at a recent performance by the band at the famed Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis, South Dakota.
The video features the lyrics for the song, which apparently was brand new at the time of the performance, over a variety of backgrounds, such as a vintage steam engine, a light display, and flames.
No title or release date is set for the live recording.
In other news, Tesla announced this week, a brief residency at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. The residency is scheduled to run from March 17 to March 25. Tickets for the residency are available here.
Tesla lead guitarist Frank Hannon said the band is looking forward to the upcoming stay at the House of Blues.
“We are very excited to be able to perform consecutive nights residing at the same venue because we plan to dig into our catalog and change up our set lists for each show,” Hannon said. “This will make it interesting for our loyal fans who will attend in the spectacular city of Las Vegas!”
The band’s residency at the House of Blues in Las Vegas is just part of a larger live schedule the band has planned for 2023. Additional headlining dates nationwide were also announced recently. The band’s tour schedule, including its residency, is noted below:
