Throw The Fight Makes Call For Unity With New Single, Video; Announces New European Tour Dates

March 2 — Hard rock band Throw The Fight premiered its latest single this week, along with a companion video to boot.

The band premiered its new single, ‘Cover Your Tracks‘ and the song’s video Thursday. The song is the first preview of the band’s as yet untitled new album, which is expected for release this year through Napalm Records.

The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single is a familiar style composition. It boasts a style and sound that is similar to so many metalcore bands, complete with the balance of clean vocals and screams, heavy, crunching guitars, and intense bass and drums.

According to front man Kade Kastelitz, the song’s lyrical theme is a sociopolitical commentary of sorts.

“‘Cover Your Tracks’ is a belief that our communities can stand united in the face of control and the ones thought to be in powerful positions, bringing a sense of unity throughout society, to stand up for the rights of humans,.” Kastelitz said. “It is a call to action, to open your eyes and to question everything.”

The video for the band’s new single is a straight forward presentation, featuring the band performing its single against a two-tone backdrop, with a variety of video effects tossed in for good measure. The song plays over the visualization in the mean time.

In other news, Throw The Fight has announced a new slate of live European dates. The band’s tour is scheduled to launch April 28 in Copenhagen, Denmark and to run through May 17 in London, UK. It also features performances in cities, such as Cologne, Germany; Warsaw, Poland and Zaandam, The Netherlands.

The tour’s schedule is noted below. Atena and Elwood Stray are scheduled to serve as support for the tour.
