April 25 — Fans of Boom! Studios’ Dune prequel series, House Harkonnen are getting a new preview of the series’ next issue today.
The company debuted a new variant cover for the 12-issue’s fifth issue Tuesday. The variant cover was designed by Raul Allen. The cover features a vary large figure looming over a city, bathed in lights in what looks to be an evening setting. It is one of three variants, the other two being designed by Jeremy Bastian and Reiko Murakami.
In the latest issue of what is the second official prequel to author Frank Herbert’s original novel, Dune, Gurney develops a rescue plan while Liet and Warrack have to make a difficult decision. Leto has to come to terms with his own recent decisions, too. Speaking of Leto, the return of someone from Leto’s past is previewed.
