Captain Kaiser Announces New Album Details; Debuts LP’s Lead Single, Video

April 20 — Independent punk outfit Captain Kaiser is set to release its new album, Rhyme&Reason later this year.
The band is scheduled to release its new album Sept. 15 through PIAS Recordings. In anticipation of its release, the band debuted the album’s lead single, ‘Goodnight‘ Wednesday, along with its companion video.
The musical arrangement featured in the record’s new single is an upbeat composition whose angst and driving bass line immediately grips listeners. Front man Sascha Vansant’s gritty vocals add even more to the richness of the song, especially in the verses. The lighter, more melodic choruses make for an interesting contrast to the tension in the verses. That contrast, in turn makes for even more engagement and entertainment and gives the song even more of its own, unique identity.
According to information provided about the premiere of the new single and video, the song’s lyrical theme centers on Vansant trying to come to terms with his mother’s passing. It is a theme that will resonate with lots of listeners.
A woman meant to apparently be his mother is shown throughout the video for the new single at different points in his life. meanwhile the band performs its new single on a sound stage in the other portion of the video.
In other news, Captain Kaiser is set to launch a tour in support of its forthcoming album Friday. The European run is scheduled to run through Sept. 15. The tour’s scheduled is noted below.
