Sleep Signals Debuts New Single, Companion Video

April 7 — Independent rock band Sleep Signals premiered its latest single this week, along with the song’s companion video.

The band debuted its new single, ‘Fearless‘ Thursday, along with its video. The premiere of the song comes a month after the band debuted its then latest single, ‘One Life.’

The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single is a melodic hard rock composition at its heart. That is evidenced in the song’s choruses. However, the guitar line presented in the verses gives the song a touch of metalcore, too. The balance of the two leanings works surprisingly here to make the song engaging and entertaining from start to end.

According to a statement from the band, the song’s lyrical theme was inspired by events that it has endured in recent years.

“We’re really excited about our latest single, ‘Fearless!,’” the statement reads. “It’s a song we wrote about coming back from our bus wreck back in 2021 and all the challenges we’ve dealt with since, pulling off the proverbial bandages and getting back to what we love to do!” says the band.

The wreck in question happened while the band was on tour with P.O.D. From Ashes to New and All Good Things. According to information provided at the time about the wreck, the incident involved the band’s vehicle and a second vehicle. The police report filed after the incident stated that the band was not at fault in the incident, though its members suffered what are being called “serious injuries.” The band’s equipment was also destroyed in the wreck.

A GoFundMe account was set up by one of the band’s friends, which helped cover costs incurred by the wreck. The fund’s page has since been closed.

In related news, Sleep Signals launched “The Sinking Ships Tour: Part II” Thursday in Spokane, WA. According to information on the band’s official website — where tickets can also be purchased — the tour is scheduled to run through Aug. Glen Flora, WI. Performances in cities, such as Baltimore, MD; Brooklyn, NY and Denver, CO.
