July 13 — Hyro The Hero will tentatively release his latest album this fall.

The nu-metal star, (a.k.a. Hyron Louis Fenton, Jr.), is scheduled to release his new album, Bound For Glory Sept. 15 through Better Noise Music. In anticipation of the record’s album, Fenton premiered the record’s latest single, a cover of Busta Rhymes’ hit 1996 single, ‘Woo-Ha!! Got You All In Check‘ Thursday, along with the song’s companion lyric video.

Hyro The Hero’s cover of Busta Rhyme’s hit single is a far cry from its source material. The bass/guitar line at the base of the original is as present here as in the source material, but the overall approach taken here is much more akin to Nonpoint’s cover of the song. Nonpoint included its take on the song in its 2000 album, Statement.

A dozen tracks will compose the body of Bound For Glory, according to information provided in the news release announcing the album’s pending release and the premiere of the song and its video.

Fenton said the record’s lyrical themes address the highs and lows that he has experienced in life and that he hopes those themes will resonate with listeners.

“Sometimes you may have to go through fires, climb mountains, go face-to-face with enemies and maybe even leap tall buildings in a single bound,” Fenton said. ““Somehow you keep going no matter what difficulties may arise because a fire inside is the energy that drives you and there’s a voice inside reminding you that you’re ‘Bound For Glory.’ My album is that voice and that fire is the music on this record.”

Hyro The Hero’s new album features guest appearances from the likes of Disturbed front man David Draiman, Ice Nine Kills front man Spencer Charnas and his band mate, guitarist Dan Sugarman, Atreyu front man Brandon Saller, Mudvayne/ex-Hellyeah front man Chad Gray, Solence front man Markus Videsater, Fire From The Gods front man AJ Channer, and REDDSTAR.

The track listing for Bound For Glory was not included in the press release announcing the premiere of the new single and its video.

‘Woo-Ha!! Got You All In Check’ is just the latest single from Hyro The Hero. He premiered his single, ‘Head Under Water (ft. Reddstar and Dan Sugarman of Ice Nine Kills)‘ and its companion lyric video in May.

In other news, Hyro The Hero is scheduled to launch a North American tour in support of his new album Sept. 8 in Nashville, TN. The 13-date tour is scheduled to run through Sept. 25 in Charlotte, NC.
