Aug. 7 — The All-American Rejects will tentatively re-issue its self-titled debut album later this month.
Originally released in 2000 through Doghouse Records, it will see its second re-issue happen Aug. 25 through UMe, this time exclusively on vinyl. The album was previously re-issued in 2003 through Dreamworks Records.
The forthcoming re-issue will come exclusively on separate 140-gram color and 7-inch Coke bottle clear vinyl pressings. According to information provided about the re-issues, the 7-inch pressing will feature new versions of two of the album’s songs, ”The Cigarette Song (acoustic version)’ and ‘Don’t Leave Me (demo).’
Pre-orders for both vinyl pressings are open. The All-American Rejects produced three singles in its original release, ‘Swing, Swing,’ ‘The Last Song‘ and ‘Time Stands Still.’
