Sept. 27 — Independent folk/punk artist Seth Jude Richard unveiled his latest single this week.
Richard premiered his new single, ‘Carry On The Name‘ Wednesday. Its premiere came more than a month after he debuted his then latest single, ‘Love So Fierce‘. As with that song, Richard’s new single was written for Richard’s oldest son, according to information in a news release announcing the new single’s premiere.
The musical arrangement featured in Richard’s new single is a powerful new presentation in its simplicity. The country-style presentation features Richard delivering his soft yet gritty vocals alongside the simple three-part instrumentation of a guitar, mandolin and pedal steel. The less-is-more approach gives the song so much power in its overall melancholy delivery.
