Nov. 6 — Independent alt-rock band Don’t Believe in Ghosts unveiled its latest single and video this week.
The band debuted its new single, ‘Bad Ideas‘ and the song’s companion video Monday. The premiere of the band’s new single and video came four months after the band debuted its then latest single, ‘This Is Paradise.’ As with that song, this song’s musical arrangement lends itself to comparison to works from the likes of Finger Eleven what with its catchy upbeat fuzzed instrumentation and vocals.
According to information provided in the news release announcing the new premieres, the lyrical theme featured in the band’s new single is a commentary on humans’ tendency to hold onto false narratives even when faced with evidence that the narratives in question are false.
