Nov. 21 — Firewind is giving audiences another preview of its forthcoming album, Stand United.
The band premiered the album’s second single, ‘Come Undone‘ Tuesday. The premiere came days after the band unveiled the song’s lyric video. The premiere of the new single and its lyric video comes more than a month after the band debuted the album’s lead single, ‘Salvation Day‘ and its companion video.
The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single is a powerful composition whose keyboards and guitars pair with its rhythm section to make the whole a unique work. On one hand, audiences can argue the overall instrumentation exhibits influence from In Flames, believe it or not. On another hand, listeners can also argue the song has all of the band’s own familiar power metal leanings. Overall, the song’s arrangement builds a strong foundation for its presentation that is sure to keep listeners engaged and entertained.
No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the debut of the new song. The lyrics provided with the song’s lyric video point directly to the theme being a commentary about the military conflicts around the world and the need for change in it all.

In other news, Firewind has a handful of live dates planned for 2024 across Europe. The tour, dubbed the “Masters of Fire Tour 2024” is scheduled to launch Feb. 29 in Frankfurt, Germany and to run through March 3 in Stockholm, Sweden. The tour will see Firewind joined by Masterplan, thus its title. The tour’s North American leg was also recently announced.
