Dec. 5 — Organizers of the Throwdown at the Campground festival have announced the details for the festival’s second edition.
According to information in a news release distributed Tuesday, the event is scheduled to take place over four days from June 6-9 at a scenic 150-acre lake in Soperton, GA. The festival will feature an extensive lineup including but not limited to the likes of Buckcherry, Nonpoint, Taproot, Butcher Babies, World Gone Cold, Ra, Otherwise, and The Campfire Allstars.
In anticipation of the festival, organizers have partnered with Buckcherry for a special ticket promotion dubbed the “Lit Up In December” Two For One Ticket Promo deal. The promotion is part of the 25th anniversary celebration of Buckcherry’s debut album, which features the hit single, ‘Lit Up.’
The band has partnered with the nonprofit agency, Keep The Beat Alive, for the promotion, which runs through Dec. 25. Meanwhile, 4-day tickets are available now starting at $189 + fees or $288 + fees for festival access with a tent or RV camping spot. Camping opens Wednesday, June 5 for those who purchase the Early Arrival pass. Festival gates open June 9 at noon and camping grounds remain open through June 10.
Keep The Beat Alive is a nonprofit agency that works to help reduce cardiac death among acts during tours, according to information on the agency’s official website.
A layaway plan is available for all tickets, which are available here.
