Feb. 22 — Ace Frehley unveiled the video for his new album’s latest single this week.
Frehley debuted the video for his new single,’ Cherry Medicine‘ Thursday. The video finds the former KISS member and his band mates performing the new single on a sound stage that is dressed to look like the inside of a rather nice mansion as a group of women dances to the music.
‘Cherry Medicine’ is the third single from Frehley’s brand new album, 10,000 Volts. The album most recently produced the single, ‘Walkin’ On The Moon‘ and its companion video. Their premiere was preceded by that of the album’s lead single, its title track.
The song’s musical arrangement is an easily accessible presentation with its light, classic guitar rock approach. The simple approach and sound makes for so much engagement and entertainment. The whole is rather sappy, but to that end is sure to resonate with Frehley’s female fans, especially considering the uber saccharine sweet lyrical theme that accompanies the song’s musical arrangement.
The lyrical theme finds Frehley declaring that it is because of a woman that he knew he had to change his ways. He knew he had to take a new course in life. It is like something right out of a romance flick or even some Hallmark movie. It is hardly the first such song that Frehley has included in his new album. ‘Walkin’ On The Moon’ is yet another tribute to a woman. In the case of this song, he declares that a woman just has made him feel so high, like he’s walking on the moon.
10,000 Volts is available now through MNRK Heavy. The album follows the release of his then latest album of original music, Spaceman. That record was released in 2018 through MNRK (nee Entertainment One).
