Feb. 29 — Collective Soul is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
As part of the celebration, the band announced Thursday, it is scheduled to release its latest album, Here To Eternity, this spring. The band’s 12th album, it is scheduled for release May 17 through the band’s own label, Fuzze-Flex Records. It will come less than two years after the release of the band’s then latest album, Vibrating.

In related news, Collective Soul is set to join Hootie and the Blowfish on the road this summer as part of the celebration of its anniversary. The tour is scheduled to launch May 30 in Dallas, TX and to run through Sept. 28 in West Palm Beach, FL. It includes scheduled stops in cities nationwide, such as Raleigh, NC; Somerset, WI and Seattle, WA.
The tour’s schedule is noted below and tickets are available through livenation.com and citientertainment.com. Before the band joins Hootie and the Blowfish, it will perform April 20 at the Fiesta Oyster Bake at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.
Barenaked Ladies will join the bands as a special guest on select dates.
