Feb. 27 — P.O.D. will launch a new tour next month in support of its forthcoming album, Veritas.
The “I Got That Tour” is scheduled to launch Apr. 26 in Phoenix, AZ and to run through June 2 in Dallas, TX. It includes performances scheduled in cities nationwide, such as Jacksonville, NC; Columbus, OH (at the annual Sonic Temple Festival) and Los Angeles, CA. Bad Wolves, Norma Jean, and Blind Channel are scheduled to serve as support for the tour.
Guitarist Marcos Curiel talked briefly about the forthcoming tour and album in a prepared statement:
“We consider ourselves very fortunate to be back out on the road again here in the states,” Curiel said. “It’s an honor for us to perform for you all. It’s been way too long. We are extremely excited for the new album and the touring cycle that comes with it. We can’t wait to see everyone jamming and singing along with us. This is why we do what we do! To reconnect with longtime friends and fans. And to make new ones. Let’s do this.”
Pre-orders for Veritas are open. Tickets are available here. The tour’s schedule is noted below. Veritas has produced three singles so far in the form of ‘Drop,’ ‘Afraid To Die, and ‘I Won’t Bow Down.’
