Nothing More Announces New Tour Dates With Set It Off, From Ashes To New

May 21 — Nothing More will spend even more time on the road this summer in support of its new album.

The band announced Tuesday, it has added almost a month’s worth of new tour dates in support of its forthcoming album, Carnal, which is scheduled for release June 28 through Better Noise Music. The new tour schedule, dubbed “The Carnal Tour,” is scheduled to kick off Aug. 31 in Columbia, MO and to run through Sept. 4 in Cleveland, OH.

Much of the tour will take place in the break between legs of the tour already announced last week. That tour kicked off Saturday and is scheduled to run through Oct. 26 in Uncasville, CT. Its next date is not scheduled to take place until July 23 in Johnston, PA. Other dates in the new schedule will blend with the aforementioned tour schedule.

From Ashes To New front man Danny Case said he and his band mates are looking forward to joining Set It Off and its label mates in Nothing More on the road.

“The whole lineup is huge and we’re looking forward to sharing the stage with them and Set It Off as well,” Case said.

Cody Carson, Set It Off’s front man shared Case’s positive sentiment.

“I had the pleasure of meeting the guys in Nothing More at a show of theirs in Nashville recently, and they are just the kindest guys,” Carson said. ““But on top of that, what impresses me is their relentless work ethic and their incredible talent on stage. We hit it off right away, and we are very excited to hit the road with them! The whole tour package is extremely talented and really cares about their live show so these cities are in for a hell of a night!”

In other news, Nothing More also debuted last week, the video for Carnal‘s latest single, ‘Angel Song.’ The song features a guest vocal performance by Disturbed front man David Draiman.

Draiman spoke highly of Nothing More and the band in addressing taking part in the song’s creation.

“The power of the track is undeniable,” Draiman said. “I’ve been a fan of the band since the very beginning.”

According to a statement from Nothing Moe efront man Johnny Hawkins, the decision to enlist Draiman for the song was natural.

“As the song was coming together in the studio, it became immediately clear to us that David Draiman’s voice would take it to another level,” Hawkins said. “We’re so happy with the result.”

He continued of the song’s creation and its lyrical theme it “is the haunting sound of our past selves melting into a future that is as bright as it is dark. “Our animal nature is getting more and more chewed up by society and our souls swallowed by technology, but there’s something in us that wants to fight back.”

Angel Song‘ is the new album’s third single behind ‘House on Sand (ft. Eric V. of I Prevail)‘ and ‘If It Doesn’t Hurt More.’
