May 14 — Steep Canyon Rangers is set to release its latest live recording this summer.
The band announced Tuesday, it is scheduled to release the recording, Live at Greenfield Lake, Aug. 30 through YepRoc Records. The concert featured in the forthcoming recording was captured during the band’s Sept. 29, 2023 performance at the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington, NC. It will be available on CD, LP and through all digital retailers.
A trailer for the concert is streaming here. Pre-orders are open. The concert’s set list features performances of songs, such as ‘Sunny Days,’ ‘Recommend Me,’ and ‘Afterglow.’ The recording’s set list is noted in whole below:

In other news, Steep Canyon Rangers is scheduled to launch a 41-date tour — which includes a headlining performance at Raleigh, NC’s annual IBMA Bluegrass Live Festival — Friday in Bethlehem, PA. The tour is in support of the band’s latest studio recording, Morning Shift, which the band released in September 2023 through YepRoc Records.
Longtime friend to the band, Steve Martin will take part on select dates on the tour alongside fellow comedian Martin Short, as will the North Carolina Symphony, Holler Choir, Lindsay Lou, and Dierks Bentley.
