The official song and music video of the film “Terrifier 3” has been collaborated on by the cinematic horror metal band ICE NINE KILLS.
At the third annual fan convention, Silver Scream Con, the lead singer and creative mastermind of ICE NINE KILLS, Spencer Charnas, revealed the announcement of their collaboration yesterday. Joining him on stage was franchise star David Howard Thornton, also known as Art The Clown.
The soon-to-be released track, titled “A Masterpiece”, is a tribute to the well-loved horror movie series and will be included in “Terrifier 3”, which is set to premiere in cinemas across the country on October 11th.
According to Charnas, the ‘Terrifier’ series introduced us to Art The Clown , who is considered the most remarkable horror character to emerge in recent years. Charnas expresses gratitude for the chance to participate in the twisted and thrilling world crafted by Damien Leone and his talented team. The followers of Art and INK are one and the same, and their desire for this collaboration was heard loud and clear.
The world premiere of “Terrifier 3” will take place at Fantastic Fest on Thursday, September 19, with the official music video featuring David Howard Thornton as Art The Clown also being revealed. The video will also be shown in certain AMC Theaters for early screenings on Thursday, October 10.
The music video for “A Work Of Art” was officially released with direction from frequent collaborator Jensen Noen, featuring actors Catherine Corcoran (“Terrifier”) and Leah Voysey (“Terrifier 2”), as well as appearances from Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin and Vincent Rockwell. Additionally, notable musicians Richard Christy (known for his work with DEATH, CONTROL DENIED, and CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED) and Shavo Odadjian from SYSTEM OF A DOWN also make appearances. The video, which runs for seven minutes, showcases impressive special effects by Emmy Award winner Christopher Nelson, known for his work on projects such as “American Horror Story”, “Suicide Squad”, and “Halloween Ends”.
The video, credited to Spencer Charnas and Andrew Justin Smith, features music from ICE NINE KILLS, WZRD BLD, Paul Wiley, and Francesco Ferrini. The lyrics were written by Spencer Charnas and Steve Sopchak, inspired by characters created by Damien Leone. The make-up effects for Art The Clown were provided by Heather Albert. The executive producers include Spencer Charnas, Mike Mowery, Chris Nillson, Eric German, Phoenix Vaughn, Damien Leone, Phil Falcone, and Ruth Deveraux. The casting was done by Cast A Spell Casting.
The movie “Terrifier 3” is both written and directed by Damien Leone, known for his work on “Terrifier” and “Terrifier 2”. It is produced by Phil Falcone and features a star-studded cast including David Howard Thornton, Lauren LaVera, Krsy Fox, Jason Patric, Chris Jericho, and Daniel Roebuck playing the role of Santa Claus.
