Myles Kennedy Debuts New Album’s Third Single, Video

-

Sept. 13 — With less than a month to go before the release of his latest album, The Art of Letting Go, Myles Kennedy has premiered another single from the forthcoming record.

Kennedy debuted his new single, ‘Miss You When You’re Gone‘ and the song’s companion video Friday. The heartfelt paranormal tale of friendship presented in the video expertly addresses the song’s lyrical theme about friendship and family. The story in question centers on a girl and her friendship with a friendly ghost throughout her life (just in time for Halloween). That heartfelt presentation pairs with the song’s beautiful musical arrangement to make the whole among the best songs released from the album so far.

‘Miss You When You’re Gone’ is the third single from the Alter Bridge front man’s latest solo album (which is itself his third solo release). The album has also produced the singles, ‘Nothing More To Gain‘ and ‘Say What You Will.’

In other news, Kennedy and his band mates are scheduled to launch a tour in support of The Art of Letting Go Oct. 27 in Hamburg, Germany. The European leg of the tour is scheduled to run through Dec. 6 in Belfast, Ireland and includes stops in cities across Europe, such as Paris, France; Prague, Czech Republic and Tilburg, Netherlands.

Following the European run, the band will tentatively embark on a North American tour starting Jan. 17, 2025 in Joliet, IL. The U.S. tour is scheduled to run through Feb. 21 in Spokane, WA. The North American run includes stops in cities nationwide, such as Lawrence, KS; Charlotte, NC and Dallas, TX. The complete European and North American tour schedule is noted below:
