
Wizards of Winter Announces Details For New Live Recording

Oct. 8 — Wizards of Winter fans will get a special early holiday gift this year.
The band announced this week, it is scheduled to release its new live recording, The Wizards of Winter Live: Volume 1 & 2 Nov. 1. Pre-orders are open. According to information provided about the recording’s pending release, pre-orders placed prior to 10.31 will receive the album without the added cost of shipping and handling.
Additionally, the information provided states the performances featured across the double CD recording were captured during the Wizards of Winter’s 2023 tour.
Band co-founder Scott Kelly spoke warmly of the new recording in a prepared statement.
“While nothing replaces the raw energy of a live show, our new release truly is as close as we could get to the concert audio experience,” Kelly said. “It will provide approximately two hours of some of our best original music including the narration…Really proud of everyone involved in the creation of our new Live album…from band, to crew, engineers. It was a total team effort to deliver this.”
In related news, Wizards of Winter recorded during its 2023 tour, a special performance for PBS titled Song of the Mountains that will tentatively air on PBS stations this fall. More information on when the special will air is available at https://pbs.org.
