Jan. 28 — Ignitor unveiled the video for its latest single this week.
The band premiered the video for its new single, ‘Horns & Hammers,’ the title track from the group’s latest album, late Monday. The song is the album’s third single behind ‘Shattered Crosses‘ and the band’s cover of Saxon’s ‘Machine Gun.’
The video is a relatively simple presentation. It featured the band performing its new single against the backdrop of artwork from the group’s new album as the song plays over the visualization. In the video’s other half, warriors are shown in combat in a post apocalyptic/medieval type of setting.
The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single is a full-on, straight ahead vintage thrash metal sound that is easily likened to early works from the likes of Exodus, Megadeth and Metallica.
No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the debut of the new video.
