Feb. 7 — Metalcore outfit Archers unveiled its latest single and video this week.

The band debuted its new single, ‘Never Enough‘ and the song’s companion video Friday. The song’s musical arrangement is a familiar melodic metalcore style composition that blends influences of Saul, The Veer Union, and other similar acts for a unique whole that will appeal to a wide range of audiences.

The song’s lyrical theme focuses on the all too familiar topic of toxic relationships, according to a prepared statement from the band.

“‘Never Enough’ is a story too many of us are familiar with -the chemistry between two people who aren’t good for each other,” the statement reads in part. “These relationships are addictive by nature, and oftentimes toxic, resulting in conflict both internal and external. Never Enough addresses the uncomfortable side of this kind of relationship, acknowledging the ‘temporary high’ of lapsing into toxicity. Because although there’s conflict and you might know it’s unhealthy, breaking the bonds for good is a lot harder than dealing with the familiarities with the thing you’ve come to know.”

Archers is working on a new EP, which it is hoping to release this year. It is unknown if ‘Never Enough’ will be included in the record.
