Jizzy Pearl Announces New Album, Tour Details; Debuts New Album’s Lead Single

Feb. 11 — Former L.A. Guns front man Jizzy Pearl (a.k.a. James Wilkinson) and his band Love/Hate will release their new album, Punk Rock Fiesta this spring.

The album is scheduled for release March 1. Wilkinson made the announcement Tuesday through a news release. In anticipation of its release, the band unveiled the record’s lead single, ‘You’re Gonna Burn‘ Tuesday.

The song’s musical arrangement is that familiar hard rock style and sound that bridged the hair metal of the late 80s and early 1990s. One could argue a comparison (to a point) to some of rocker Sammy Hagar’s harder-edged works, while just as much comparison could be made to various works from the likes of Motley Crue.

No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the details about the new album and the debut of the new single.

In other news, Jizzy Pearls’ Love/Hate is scheduled to launch a tour in support of the new album March 5 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The European leg of the tour is scheduled to run through March 16 in Swansea, Wales.

A North American run is scheduled to follow, beginning July 4 in West Hollywood, CA at the famed Whisky. The tour’s schedule is noted below:

UK DATES:
March 5th Edinburgh at Bannermans
March 6th Newcastle at Trillians
March 7th Buckley at Tivoli
March 8th Wolverhampton at K.K.’s Steelmill
Mark 9th Blackpool at Waterloo
March 12th Bradford at Nightrain
March 13th Camden at Underworld
March14th Yarmouth at Hard Rock Hell
March 15th Crumlin at Patriot
March 16th Swansea at Hanger 18

US DATES:
July 4th West Hollywood, CA at The Whisky
July 5th Las Vegas, NV at Vamp’d

Punk Rock Fiesta will come a little less than three years after the release of the group’s then latest album, Hell, CAPre-orders for the new album are open.
