Feb. 25 — Bleed From Within offered up another preview of its forthcoming album, Zenith, this week.
The preview came Tuesday in the form of the video for the album’s latest single, ‘God Complex.’ The song is the album’s fourth single behind ‘‘Hope in Hell,‘ which the band debuted in January, ‘In Place of Your Halo,‘ which dropped in December, and the album’s lead single, ‘ ‘Hands of Sin.’
The musical arrangement featured in ‘God Complex’ is a fiery composition the is full on metalcore. It is easily comparable to works from the likes of fellow metalcore outfit Wage War what with its downtuned guitars, screaming vocals, and overall depth.
According to a statement from the band, the song’s lyrical message is “about ego and what it means to us, to you, to everyone.” The statement continues, “This industry is plagued by those who have a heightened version of themselves but in everyday life, it is clear to see those that put themselves above others.”
The song’s video is an equally familiar presentation. It features the band performing its new single on a sound stage as the video plays over the visualization. A variety of video effects is used throughout the band’s performance to heighten engagement and entertainment.
Zenith is scheduled for release Apr. 4 through Nuclear Blast Records.
In other news, Bleed From Within recently announced an extensive tour schedule in support of its forthcoming album. The band will serve as support for Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium beginning Apr. 19 in Chesterfield, MO.
The tour is scheduled to run through May 18 in Raleigh, NC. A headlining run for Bleed From Within is scheduled to launch Sept. 10 in Antwerp, Belgium and to run through Dec. 12 in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The band’s upcoming tour schedule is noted below. Tickets are available here.
