Chevelle debuted its first new single in four years Wednesday, along with the song’s companion video.
The music in question is the band’s new single, ‘Rabbit Hole (Cowards Pt. 1).’ The band premiered the song’s visualizer in compaion with the single. The song’s musical arrangement is an instantly infectious composition with its heavy, melodic alt-rock, style and sound. To that end it is an easy fit for any active rock radio programmer’s daily play list.
The band hinted at the song’s lyrical theme, which seems to address all of the conspiracy theorists out there who want to think fact is fiction. This as the band noted in a prepared statement, “How about we all put on our tinfoil hats, slam a Dunkies, and go deep doomscrolling. If that sounds like your sorta thing, we’ve got a new song for you called ‘Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1). Enjoy.”
The song’s visualizer features its lyrics placed over a television screen showing distorted images of the band performing its new single.A and includes stops in cities nationwide, such as Raleigh, NC; Denver, CO and San Diego, CA.
