Foreigner will perform in front of audiences in Canada this fall.
The band announced Monday through a news release, it will launch the tour Oct. 21 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The tour’s launch will come ahead of the upcoming stage presentation, “Juke Box Hero: The Musical,’ which is set to go into production in 2026.
Joining the band as guest vocalist for the upcoming tour will be Canada’s own, Geordie Brown. Brown just so happens to be the male lead of the upcoming stage production in Calgary and Edmonton and the sold-out run in Toronto. Along with his work on the musical, Brown has also worked in television on the likes of Jodi Picoult’s The Tenth Circle and an adaptation of author Stephen King’s novel, Bag of Bones. Additionally, Brown is the co-creator of the musical, “Could I Have This Dance?”
Foreigner founder and leader Mick Jones spoke highly of Brown in a prepared statement.
“I was most impressed by Geordie’s performances of ‘Juke Box Hero,The Musical’ in Canada,” said Jones. “He is not only a consummate vocalist, but a verified Broadway actor to boot. We look forward to welcoming him at our shows on Foreigner’s 2025 Canadian tour.”
