Independent hard rock act Judicator premiered the visualizer for its latest single this weekend.
The band unveiled the visualizer Friday for its latest single, ‘Johanna’s Song.’ The single is the third offering from the band’s new album, Concord, which released Friday, too. The album’s most recent single, ‘A Miracle of Life,’ debuted early this month. It was preceded by the release of the album’s title track and video last month.
The musical arrangement featured in ‘Johanna’s Song’ is a symphonic power metal composition. It can be compared — to a point — to works from the likes of Shadow Gallery.
Judicator front man John Yellen discussed the song’s lyrical theme in a prepared statement.
“This song is just lovely,” said Yellen. “It depicts a young woman with a great family, a great life in general, but however good things may be at home, a call to adventure still burns within her. There’s a tension between the desire to stay where it’s comfortable and the need to go out and wrestle with the world.”
