Independent rocker Dan Sindel will release his new EP, They Only Love You When You’re Winning, later this year.
In anticipation of its pending release, Sindel premiered the record’s lead single, ‘Ambition,’ early this month. The song’s musical arrangement is a bluesy composition with a subtle punk lean a la The Ramones and Mickey Leigh.
According to Sindel, the song’s lyrical theme takes on a familiar topic that so many people have in regard to music stardom.
“It’s about holding onto the childhood dream of becoming a famous rock and roll star and never letting it die,” said Sindel.
