Machine Head unveiled its latest album, Unatoned today
In celebration of its relase the band also premiered the video for the album’s third single, ‘Outsider.’ The video was recorded at the famed Aztec Theater in San Antonio, TX during the band’s current tour.
The band’s new single is, musically a sobdued composition in comparison to most of its body of work. Even the heavier parts are not the massively intense works that the band has composed. It is an interesting change of pace but still engaging and entertaining.
The band explained the familiar lyrical theme of the new single in a prepared statement:
“‘ØUTSIDER’ is an anthem that has kinship with anyone who’s had to cut toxic people loose,” the statement reads. “These last few years, I’ve had to let go of a lot of relationships, and I know I’m not alone in that. This track is for anyone who’s been there.”
‘Outsider’ is the third single from Unatoned. The album has also produced the singles ‘Unbound‘ and most recently, ‘Bonescraper.‘
