Details Announced For New Iron Savior Retrospective

Iron Savior will complete its Reforged album retrospective series this summer.

The band announced Friday through a news release it will release Reforged — Machine World Aug. 25 through Reigning Phoenix Music imprint, Perception. The third record in the trilogy, it follows Reforged — Riding on Fire (2017) and Reforged — Ironbound (2022). As with those records it will feature reworked versions of some of the band’s biggest hits. Additionally, it will feature a cover of Judas Priest’s ‘Starkiller.’

According to information provided in a news release announcing the forthcoming record’s release, it spans 16 tracks and reaches as far back as Iron Savior’s 1999 album, Unification and as recent as the band’s 2004 album Battering Ram.

Reforged — Machine World will be released separately on 2CD and 2LP vinyl. In anticipation of the record’s release the band debuted a reworked take of ‘Eye Of The World‘ Friday.

Front man Piet Sielck addressed the song in a prepared statement.

“I was just never happy with this song,” said Sielck. “Somehow it didn’t really take off. But the new version is an absolute hit and is now even being released as the first single.”
