Tungsten debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band unveile the video for its new single, ‘Cry For The Fallen‘ Thursday. The video finds the video performing its new single in a church as the song plays over the visualization. Front man Mike Andersson sings his part to the song as he makes his way up the church’s aisle while two of his band mates sit in the pews. The subdued setting is a good fit for the song’s musical arrangement and its lyrical theme, which are decidedly melancholy.

The band addressed the video’s presentation and its lyrical message in a prepared statement.

“We filmed the music video in a beautiful church in Southern Sweden, a setting that we felt perfectly matches the song’s atmosphere and message,” the statement reads in part. “Lyrically, ‘Cry For The Fallen’ is a tribute to our loved ones who have passed away – an emotional remembrance of family and friends no longer with us. This is a song to remember – and to be played loud!”

The statement added that the song was recorde during the sessions for the band’s latest album, The Grand Inferno (2024), which was released through AFM Records. The band has joined the Reigning Phoenix Music roster since releasing that album.
