Sept. 14 — Collective Soul’s 2001 compilation record, Seven Year Itch: Greatest Hits 1994 – 2001 will see renewed attention later this year through Craft Recordings.
Officials with Craft Recordings announced Thursday, the label is scheduled to re-issue the band’s singles collection Dec. 1 on vinyl. The collection includes many of the band’s biggest singles, including, ‘Shine,’ ‘The World I Know,’ ‘Next Homecoming’ and ‘Energy.’ Pre-orders are open.
Seven Year Itch: Greatest Hits 1994 – 2001 sold more than 225,000 copies in its first year of release, and reached No. 50 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart. The collection went platinum in Canada, where it peaked at No. 9. To date, the compilation has sold more than 500,000 copies.
Seven Year Itch: Greatest Hits 1994 – 2001 is Collective Soul’s only singles collection to date. Its re-issue later this year will come more than a year after the release of the band’s most recent album, Vibrating (2022).
