The Hu Premieres ‘Sell The World’ Video

Oct. 3 — The Hu debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band unveiled the animated (and borderline NSFW) video for its single, ‘Sell The World‘ Tuesday. The video features a mad doctor who is cutting up a woman who is meant to represent mother Earth and selling all of her parts toa ravenous crowd of buyers. The bidders are so mad for parts of the woman that they eventually start attacking and even killing one another as the song plays over the visualization.

The attacking and the fact that the woman is laying on a table in front of everyone nude pairs with the blood and gore to make the video somewhat NSFW. Spoiler alert: the mad doctor who is cutting up mother earth turns out to be the devil.

The heavy visual works in partner with the song’s lyrical theme, which is an ecologically minded statement about how mankind is destroying the Earth, entirely out of greed.

The song’s musical arrangement is everything that audiences have come to expect from The Hu, complete with the familiar throat singing that is a standard part of all of the band’s music. The song is featured in The Hu’s recently re-issued album, Rumble of Thunder, which is available now.
