Feb. 2 — Last summer, veteran thrash metal outfit Artillery announced the schedule for a planned tour of North America celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary.
That tour, which was scheduled to run from Sept. 9 to Oct. 14, never happened, however. That was due to issues the band had with visas. On Friday though, the band announced it has rescheduled its tour, with the new run set to launch March 27 in Austin, TX.
The new run is scheduled to run through April 20 in Toronto, ON and will once again feature support by Vapor and Potential Threat. The bands were also scheduled to serve as support for Artillery’s fall 2023 North American run before its cancellation.
Artillery guitarist Michael Stutzer said in a prepared statement, the band is looking forward to finally getting the tour underway.
“We are really excited to get back to North America to celebrate 40 years of ARTILLERY’s thrash metal,” Stutzer said. “We had an amazing time on our last tour and can’t wait to meet our diehard fans again.”
