Louder Than Life Marks Its 10th Anniversary This Year

Feb. 21 — The Louder Than Life Festival reaches a major milestone this year as it celebrates its 10th anniversary

In its 10th anniversary, organizers for the annual festival have announced an expansive lineup, including the one and only Slayer as one of its headliners. The band’s members announced Wednesday, its return. Joining the band as a headliner are: Slipknot, Korn, and Motley Crue, yet another band that years ago, claimed it was done only to come back, too.

Those bands are part of a lineup that will include almost 150 bands spread across five stages and three days Sept. 26-29 in Louisville, KY. Tickets and VIP packages are available here now with a $10 down payment for the concert’s layaway plan.

Louder Than Life is produced and presented by Danny Wimmer Presents. The agency’s head and namesake shared his thoughts on this year’s festival and having Slayer as one of the festival’s headliners.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Slayer will be reuniting for an earth-shattering performance at Louder Than Life,” Wimmer said. “”I was at their last show at The Forum in 2019 and have been working since then to bring them back to the Louder stage! With over 140 bands on five stages, we’re celebrating our 10th Louder Than Life with the biggest lineup yet! P.S., come out and celebrate with us at TAJ this Saturday and we’ll buy your first drink.”
