March 19 — Unleash The Archers is giving audiences another preview of its forthcoming album this week.
The band debuted its new single, ‘Ghosts in the Mist‘ and the song’s companion video Tuesday. The song is the second single from the band’s forthcoming album, Phantoma, which is scheduled for release May 10 through Napalm Records. The band premiered the record’s lead single, ‘Green & Glass‘ and the song’s video last month.
The musical arrangement featured in ‘Ghosts in the Mist’ is another rich, heavy power metal composition that expertly balances the instrumentation throughout. The result is a work that fully immerses audiences in the work. It is everything audiences have come to expect from the band during its life.
The band spoke briefly about the song’s arrangement in a prepared statement.
“The track is one of the more synth heavy songs on the album, but it’s also got some rad death vocals from Grant that you can bang your head to, so we hope there will be a little something for everyone to enjoy here!,” the statement reads.
No explanation was provided for the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the premiere of the new single and video. Lyrics were also not provided with the song’s video, which features the band on-stage in 2023 alongside Lutharo.
The aforementioned statement also found the band also addresses the video.
“If you saw us at any of the shows we played last year then you might recognize this track!,” the statement reads. “We filmed the music video at Mad With Power Fest, ProgPower USA, and at our show in Montreal, Canada, and it is full of so many friends and familiar faces! We love including these particular festivals in the video because they have both been supporters of ours for a very long time, and we hope we will get to play them again and again as the years go on.”
Phantoma will release through a variety of platforms, all of which are noted below along with the album’s track listing.
