Feb. 7 — Meshuggah unveiled a “live” clip of its song ‘Ligature Marks’ Friday.
The video and song are featured in the forthcoming re-issue of the band’s 2022 album, Immutable. Originally released Apr. 1, 2022 through Nuclear Blast Records, it will see its re-issue Apr. 4, 2025 through Reigning Phoenix Music. Pre-orders are open.
The new live clip features the band’s song played over footage of the band on stage. The news release announcing the video’s debut does not clarify from where the video was captured. Speaking of live, the album’s forthcoming re-issue will be bolstered by a trio of live tracks as extras.
On a related note, Meshuggah is scheduled to tour alongside Cannibal Corpse and Carcass this spring. The bands’ North American tour is scheduled to launch March 28 in Quebec City, QC and to run through Apr. 24 in New York, NY. It also includes stops in cities nationwide, such as Boise, ID; Las Vegas, NV and Dallas, TX.
