L.A. Guns Announces New Album Details; Announces New Tour Schedule

Feb. 6 — L.A. Guns will release its next album this spring.

The band announced Thursday through a news release, it will release its latest album, Leopard Skin, Apr. 4 through Cleopatra Records. The album will come from the L.A. Guns lineup of Tracii Guns, Phil Lewis, Adam Hamilton, and Ace Von Johnson rather than that of Riley’s L.A. Guns. It will come roughly two years after this lineup released its then latest album, Black Diamonds.

In anticipation of the record’s release, the band debuted the new album’s lead single, ‘Taste It‘ and the song’s companion video Wednesday. The song’s musical arrangement is all of the great late 80s/early 90s sleave rock bombast for which the glam rock outfit has come to be known.

No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the album’s coming release and the debut of the new single and video. No lyrics were provided with the song’s video, either.

Speaking of the song’s video, it was recorded at the Maui Sugar Mill Saloon in Tarzana, CA. It features the band performing its new single in front of one lucky elderly fan who despite his age still rocks just like anyone half his age. He and the band prove one is never too old to rock.

In other news, L.A. Guns has a tour planned in support of its new album. The tour is scheduled to launch March 10-15 aboard the Monsters of Rock Cruise. From there, the tour will make its way across America from Apr. 22 in Warrendale, PA to July 26 in Beaver Dam, KY.
