Machine Head Announces New Live Dates

-

March 14 — Machine Head announced Tuesday, its online “Happy Hour” performances have spawned a new tour.

The band is scheduled to launch its “Electric Happy Hour Tour” May 15 in Ventura, CA. The currently nearly month-long tour is scheduled to run through June 9 in Los Angeles, CA. While the majority of the tour’s dates will take the band through the Midwest — through states, such as Tennessee, Michigan, and Indiana — there is one East Coast performance on the schedule planned for May 31 in Pittsburgh, PA.

More dates are expected to be announced in the coming days. Pre-sales for tickets for the current dates open at 10 a.m. local time Wednesday. Public sales open Friday here.

Front man and founder Robb Flynn said he was looking forward to getting back out on the road.

“Really stoked to be heading out in America again, the last tour had so many moments that were so strong and just beyond life affirming!,” Flynn said.

Machine Head’s tour spawned from online performances that Flynn held when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down live music. He has continued the performances even now that the pandemic has ended. The tour is also in support of the band’s latest album, Of Kingdom and Crown, which the band released in 2022 through Nuclear Blast Records.

The album produced the singles, ‘Unhallowed,‘  ‘Choke On The Ashes Of Your Hate,‘  ‘Arrows In Words From The Sky,’ Rotten,’  ‘Become The Firestorm,’ and ‘My Hands Are Empty’.
