March 31 — Guitarist Steve Hackett is scheduled to re-issue two of his solo albums this year.

Guitar Noir (1993) and Darktown (1999) are schedueld for re-issue on vinyl June 2 through InsideOut Music. Hackett said he was looking forward to the albums’ re-issues, saying, “I’m thrilled that my two albums Guitar Noir and Darktown are being release on vinyl for the first time! My music took on a darker edge for both those albums, and I explored additional sounds and genres I hadn’t touched before.”

The upcoming re-issues will come on the heels of the release of two new albums from Hackett in recent years, Under a Mediterranean Sky and Surrender of Silence. Both records were released in 2021 through InsideOut Music.
