May 4 — The second story arc of Boom! Studios’ Once Upon A Time at the End of the World comic book series begins next month.
The series’ sixth issue, dubbed ‘The Rise and Fall of Golgonooza,’ is scheduled for release June 7. In Issue #6, Mezzy and Maceo have found a secluded community with everything they need to live through adulthood. Everything is not perfect, as dysfunction does rear its head in the pair’s adult life. It leaves the question of how long the pair’s happiness can last.
Issue #6’s main and cover art was designed by Kevin Wada. The variant covers were designed by Leila Del Duca, Stephanie Hans, and Jenny Frison. The new issue’s story was written by Eisner and Harvey Award-winning writer Jason Aaron.
