May 19 — Indie pop act Iglu & Hartly debuted its new single Friday, along with the song’s companion video.

The new song, ‘Flash Bang‘, presents an infectious musical arrangement whose keyboards and beats take audiences back to the 80s and its poppy new wave sounds. More specifically, there is an evident infleuce from the likes of A-Ha.

According to information provided about the premiere of the song and the song’s video, the song’s lyrical content focuses on a relationship “rocked by a bombshell.”

The video for the act’s new single isa unique presentation. It features singer/producer Jarvis Anderson walking around on a phone (supposedly with that other person) against various backdrops as the song plays over the visualization.
