Film Movement To Bring French Dark Workplace Comedy To American Audiences

June 15 — Workplace comedies are big business for American television and movie studios.

They are just as big overseas, too, apparently, as Film Movement’s French import, Employee of the Month proves. Having originally made its theatrical debut in 2021 in its home nation of France, the movie follows disgruntled Ecoclean employee Ines (Jasmina Douieb — TorpedoThe BreakScience-Fictions) as she takes 17 years of pent up frustration about her job out in a shocking fashion. Ines is joined by her intern, Melody (Laetitia Mampaka) in her twisted actions.

Fans of movies, such as Horrible Bosses and Office Space will find plenty to appreciate about Employee of the Month, as its trailer proves.

Employee of the Month is scheduled for release July 11 on DVD. It will retail for MSRP of $29.95.
