July 5 — Independent thrash metal band Strike Master unveiled the video for its latest single late last month.
The band premiered the video for its latest single, ‘Crystallized’ June 30. The band premiered the song early last month by itself through Metal Rules. The video is an interesting presentation that featured the band members on a wall of vintage television monitors as the song plays over the visualization. At one point, one of the monitors is smashed by an unidentified person with a sledgehammer.
The news release announcing the video’s premiere does not offer any information regarding the stylistic approach taken with the video.
‘Crystallized’ is featured in Strike Master’s forthcoming album, Tangram Apocalypse, which is scheduled for release Sept. 1.
The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single is an intense composition that throws back to the vintage thrash leanings what with the screamed vocals and machine gun fast instrumentation. Listeners could argue there is an influence from the likes of Testament, Exodus, Slayer and other famed thrash acts.
