Phantom Bay Announces New EP Details; Premieres Record’s New Single, Video

-

July 14 — Independent hardcore emo punk outfit Phantom is set to release its latest record, The Underground, Sept. 8 through Krod Records.

In anticipation of the record’s release the band premiered the EP’s lead single, ‘Collective Decline’ Friday alongside the song’s video, which premiered through online outlet, Visions. The musical arrangement featured in the new single is an intense composition led by the hybrid screams/singing and enhanced even more through the melodic guitar work. The collective sound and style in the arrangement is easily comparable to works from so many of the band’s fellow screamo/emo acts.

No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the premiere of the new single. According to information provided through the article at Visions, the new single’s lyrical theme is a commentary about the “sense of powerlessness” that some people feel as they watch everything happening in the world.

The video for Phantom Bay’s new single features the band performing its new single in what appears to be a studio type setting and crosses that with various footage of firefighters battling blazes.

More information on Phantom Bay’s new single, video and EP is available along with all of the band’s latest news at:
