March 10 — Power metal band Battle Born will re-issue its 2020 self-titled EP this spring.
The band is scheduled to re-issue the record May 6 through Prosthetic Records. The announcement came Thursday, more than three months after the band announced it had signed with the label.
The band discussed the forthcoming re-issue in a prepared statement.
“We’re proud to be re-releasing our debut EP, Battle Born, via Prosthetic Records – with a fresh remaster and a brand new bonus track, ‘Hammer of Might’!,” the statement reads. “We wrote Hammer of Might in the same sessions as the other tracks originally released on the EP, so it seemed like the perfect inclusion for the first step on our new path with Prosthetic.”
In other news, the band has expanded its previously announced spring tour schedule. Originally scheduled to launch May 27 in Cheltenham, the tour is now scheduled to launch May 6 in Southampton. Additionally, the location for the tour’s June 5 tour finale has been announced as the Golden Lion in Banstaple.
