Feb. 25 — Independent rock band Everglaze debuted its new single and video this week.
The band premiered its new single, ‘Click, Bang‘ and its video Friday. The song’s musical arrangement is a light, pop rock style composition that will appeal easily to any college rock fan. That is especially evidenced through the subtle pairing of the song’s guitar and bass lines. The interesting thing about the arrangement is the contrast of its energy to the song’s lyrical theme.
The song’s lyrical theme centers on personal relationships, as the band noted in a prepared statement.
‘”In the music industry as well as other entrepreneurial positions, we’ve all encountered people that don’t believe in us. It could be your mom, friend, dad, or teacher. in this particular case, the story of this song came about with an ex-relationship,” the statement reads.
The statement continues, “‘Click Bang’ encapsulates a time when one of our band members had an unexpected and unwanted encounter with an ex at one of our shows The situation really aggravated him at this particular show and he finally decided to write about it in a way that may be relatable to others. The verses of the song narrate the point of view of what the ex may think you are thinking while trying to catch your attention once again. The transition to the chorus and the chorus itself is pretty much the writers’ self-spoken way of saying back to their ex, “Click Bang You Wish Baby”’
The video for ‘Click, Bang’ is a relatively straight forward presentation. It features the band performing its new single in a live setting.
‘Click, Bang’ is the band’s sixth single. The band’s five other singles are available to stream through its official Spotify channel.
